It has been our experience that Brassica oleracea [Acephala Group] 'Alabama Blue' performs well in our area. We have observed it to be a prolific and fast grower with attractive blue foliage. While it performs well, it is not as fast growing as B. oleracea [Acephala Group] 'Champion'.
